Put November 3rd, 2010 – 6:00 pm on your calendar.
We’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Floodplain Management Association, and you’re invited to the party being held at this fall’s annual conference in Henderson, NV, on beautiful Lake Las Vegas.
It’s all part of our annual celebration entitled, When the shoe doesn’t fit...adapting to new regulations.
These three days of excitement feature a power plant tour of the Hoover Dam, hundreds of industry experts, and a party promising to be LOADS of fun when we gather at Loews from November 2-5.
This is sure to be 2010’s premier venue for floodplain management professionals in California, Nevada and Hawaii. But we need you to circle the date on your calendar now and plan to be there. FMA is an active and recognized voice in floodplain management in the region connecting policy makers with scientists, planners, regulators, engineers, educators and researchers to develop effective policies, technology and methods for sustainable floodplains.
Our conferences are recognized throughout the industry as the one event you WANT to be at. And this year, in addition to amazing networking opportunities, top industry speakers, outstanding presentations and CFM credits, FMA will also provide a celebration only seen once every 20 years.
We want you to be there!
Please plan to show your support for FMA by:
- Attending the conference
- Presenting a booth for the hundreds of industry executives
joining you there - Making a presentation (June 4th deadline for submissions)
- Sponsoring a special event
- Buying a program ad wishing the association a happy anniversary
